The Project Architect will work to advance project design concepts and project documentation. This position requires initiative and the ability to prioritize job duties while working as part of a collaborative design team. Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited American college or university. A minimum of 5 years of overall experience working as an Architect is preferred. Candidates must know building systems and construction practices and have a good understanding of how to translate designs into construction documents is required. Candidates must have excellent overall design and technical skills, project-based Revit experience is preferred, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required. Master's degree preferred

• 5+ years design experience preferred

• Licensed Architect with current registration preferred

• Ability to work in team environment

• Ability to effectively meet deadlines

• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

• Demonstrated ability to manage the design of small to large projects to fruition

• Proficient knowledge of building codes and the ability to research and apply/incorporate them into technical documents

ICON Architectural Group is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves working closely with clients to develop innovative design solutions that meet their needs while adhering to budget constraints and project timelines.

 

Duties:

• Participate in conceptual design and provide full support through the entire project

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional requirements for interior spaces

• Develop comprehensive design plans, including layout, color schemes, materials, and furnishings

• Utilize design software such as Revit to create detailed drawings and 3D models

• Prepare project budgets and manage costs effectively throughout the design process

• Source materials, furnishings, and fixtures while negotiating with vendors to ensure quality and value

• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications

• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants and contractors to execute design plans efficiently

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design

• 6+ years of experience

• Strong project management abilities to oversee multiple projects from

• conception through completion and to effectively meet project deadlines

• Ability to take initiative and work independently

• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam

• Strong budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively
