Developed site plan engaging the building’s design and bridging the scenic landscape of the mountainous terrain. The building design accentuates the landscape by mimicking the form of the mountain backdrop. Sustainable design features such as; geo-thermal well field, local materials, natural day lighting while maintaining security, energy efficient mechanical and electrical systems, state-of-the-art security and electronic systems. The facility provides adequate room for correctional treatment of male and female inmates both juvenile and adult. Program rooms for spiritual and correctional treatment as well as both indoor and outdoor recreation space. Site and building design allows for future expansion without disruption of operations. Building houses administration wing featuring offices for correctional staff and tribal police. Evidence and briefing rooms are provided in the facility.
