INTRODUCTION AND GOALS
A campus-wide master plan was completed in 2021. Due to those initial findings, Concordia College called for a deeper review and assessment of all athletic facilities to properly understand current deficiencies and support future opportunities. This master plan document outlines current facility and program needs, deficiencies, and recommendations for future improvements and new construction opportunities.

Cobber Athletics’ mission includes providing a positive experience for student athletes by creating a platform to excel, which includes providing a safe, compliant, and high-quality playing environment. The College strives to ensure its facilities and programs are competitive in the conference, region, and division. This master plan will assist Concordia College administration and key stakeholders in making informed decisions driven towards the mission of Cobber Athletics. The Athletics Master Plan will become a part of the Campus Master Plan for Concordia College.

PROCESS
ICON Architectural Group led a series of in-person and virtual meetings with athletics administration, staff, coaches, and facility management to understand goals, deficiencies, and future needs and wants. In addition, ICON walked through every athletic facility to view first-hand areas of concern and opportunity. From there, ICON compiled feedback to create a master plan with their findings and recommendations.
