The 170,000 square foot arena will host over 6,000 fans for sporting events and close to 8,000 for concerts. The facility will include a full-service restaurant, various bars around the arena, concessions, plaza area, and ten luxury suites. The arena is expected to be home for more than just the Sockers upon opening, with owners hoping to include concerts, youth sports activities, events, and more in the facility. The arena recently broke ground in May 2021 and is projected to be complete in time for the 2023 San Diego Sockers season opener.
