MILBANK LEGION BASEBALLCOMPLEX

MILBANK, SD

Milbank, South Dakota is the birthplace of Legion Baseball. Milbank’s Legion Baseball Facility was located adjacent to an expanding school campus and in order to allow the school to continue expanding, it was determined that the best course of action was to tear down the baseball facility and build a new complex on a different site. The new complex will include two youth fields, a Legion field, a grandstand, and a centralized building with restrooms and a concession stand. This project will not only build a new baseball complex. It will build upon the legacy of Milbank and Legion Baseball and create a memorial that pays respect to the thousands of young men that have participated in the program since Legion Baseball’s conception in 1925.
