The University of North Dakota’s Albrecht Softball Field is a newly completed, state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance both the athlete and fan experience. The field features a high-performance Sprinturf turf outfield and infield, providing a durable and consistent playing surface. A 686-seat grandstand with a combination of bleacher and individual seating offers comfortable views for spectators.

The facility includes a press box and filming platform for media coverage and team analysis, along with a dedicated viewing and party deck in left field to enhance the fan experience. Player amenities are top-notch, with home team bullpens and batting cages, as well as a visitor bullpen.

Throughout the design process, donor engagement was a key focus, ensuring strong community involvement and support. The field officially opened after breaking ground in October 2023, marking a major milestone for UND softball.
