Wolfpup Daycare is an infant through preschool-age daycare in Watford City. It is the second facility for Wolfpup Daycare. With population and job growth in McKenzie County, the demand for daycare outweighed the available facilities. This facility accommodates 225 children and will was full opening day in the Summer of 2024. Because the demand was so high, the project site was planned to accommodate temporary, portable daycare units to accommodate 100 children while the permanent facility was under construction. The site selection allows access to an existing, robust paved trail network which will be utilized for outdoor recreation along with the fenced playground area. The 16 classrooms will accommodate 10 to 20 children each with an indoor common recreation area and three outdoor fenced playground areas. The site will allow future expansion should the need arise.
