GRAND SKY UAS PARK MASTER PLAN
GRAND FORKS, ND
Grand Sky is the first operational UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) business park and aviation park in the United States. This 217-acre technology park is located adjacent to the Grand Forks Air Force Base. An agreement with the USAF allows tenants of Grand Sky to access the 12,000-foot runway for air access to their facility. ICON master planned the park and coordinated county officials, SAF, engineers and developers to create multiple levels of leasable land including “beachfront” lots that have direct access to the runway and other off runway sites more suitable for support services. The site is secured by a perimeter fence and a controlled manned entry gate. Current tenants include Northrop Grumman, General Atomics, and Edge Data.
